4,266 Adolescent and adult activists receive training on human rights, gender equality, and democratic dialogue with authorities.

Cross-continental solidarity: This encapsulates the ethos under which a multitude of volunteers at NETZ operated from Germany in 2024 to promote human dignity and justice. The educational work challenges global power structures and fosters collaborative learning.

Our finances
NETZ's total income in 2024 was around 5.31 million euros. NETZ financed its work mainly from donations and membership fees (562,125 euros), government grants (4.1 million euros), and grants from church (352,000 euros) and private (245,000 euros) institutions.
About 4.6 million euros - 89.71% of total expenditures in 2024 - were allocated by NETZ to development cooperation with Bangladesh and India. 2 % of NETZ's expenditures in 2024 went to the work area of global learning and international understanding, 8.3 % to transparency, advertising and association work.
