The study has focused on two Community Development Blocks (Dubrajpur and Mohammad Bazar) of Birbhum District with special reference to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) populations to understand the climate vulnerabilities and coping mechanisms thereof. The community-based organizations (CBOs), the Gram Panchayats, Block and District officials, the civil society organizations, the teachers, the leaders of the community, and disaster volunteers were the key persons to provide, collect, and share the research-related grassroots level information, data, facts, and figures.
