Income 2012

The total income of NETZ in 2012 was more than €3.43 million. The expenditure was €10,000 higher than the income. Both the total income as well as the expenditure was 10% lower than in 2011. This is mainly due to the decrease in public grants, which constitute the largest share of the budget. They were 13% lower compared to the previous year. This is due to payment cycles of the EU, which are phased according to the accounting of project expenditures and not the calendar year. Regarding church funds, the income and expenditure have partially shifted to the beginning of the year 2013. The private donations have increased by 7% compared to the previous year despite a decreasing trend for donations in Germany. Donations are utilised according to the specified purpose. NETZ receives donations from groups, parishes, schools, individuals and on a small scale from companies. NETZ accepts donations from those companies only whose policies do not have a negative impact on the situation of the poorest people and are not contrary to our values in other respects.
